Today is Martin Luther King Day, when we celebrate the life of a black civil rights leader who was killed in 1968. It's also a 3-day weekend. Here are the highlights:

Sister and husband arrived here on Friday night, Jan. 12th. Spent the evening playing Apples to Apples card game.

Completed spring registration on Saturday, January 13th and then came back home to have Japanese snack food, "takoyaki" & "okonomiyaki" for lunch with Mrs. Pitt, Digger, and Digger 2.0. We were not able to go to the Mexican seafood restaurant because they forgot their passports. We then went to Old Bisbee and walked around looking in antique shops and other stores.

Found a full, 12-place setting Noritake china set for a good price at antique shop in Old Bisbee and put it on hold for 1 week. We've decided to purchase it. Unsure at this time where we store/display it. Might need to purchase a china cabinet/old secretary to display/store china set.

Drank a small cup of espresso in the afternoon & couldn't sleep until 12am. Wife may have allergy to food preservative called sodium tripolyphosphate. Very sick on Saturday evening after dinner of rotisserie chicken from supermarket & shrimp stir fry. Both foods contained preservative.

Went to Elgin yesterday and had lunch with parents. Digger 2.0 and I helped Poppa Pitt take down christmas lights on his roof. Watched NFL playoffs. The 4 of us ate dinner at a Mexican restaurant in Sierra Vista and watched end of Saints-Vikings NFL playoff game. Very exciting.

Unsure what we will do today. A lot will depend on when sister and her husband leave.

All for today...
