Wanted: Guard Dog
Wife and I have decided that we need to hire a canine unit to defend our home. It has come to our attention that someone or some people are using our property as a pass through between the main street in the front of our house and the back alley. Twice this week we have noticed our back gate opened after we have closed and bolted it shut. This is very disconcerting.
Job Description: The Pitt Family Guard Dog will charged with the defense of the family home and act as a deterrent to people wanting to pass through our property from the front street to the alley behind our house at all hours of the night or day. The successful candidate will possess an ability to be intimidating without being vicious or display behaviors of meanness or aggression towards your employers and friends or family of your employers.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Must demonstrate protective or defensive instincts and be willing to use those instincts at the appropriate time.
2. Must demonstrate critical thinking skills and be able to differentiate between friend and foe.
3. Must be willing to live outside of the family home. Housing will be provided.
4. Should be a good physical size and stature. Please be 100lbs or more.
5. Effective communication skills are required. No unnecessary or superfluous barking.
Payment & Benefits:
1. Housing: You will be provided a small dog house or shelter to use as defense against inclement weather. On hot days you will be provided with a pool to play and cool off in and during severe inclement weather you may be permitted to use the humans indoor house.
2. Meals: You will receive 2x daily meals and treats as merited.
3. Recreation: The Pitt Family encourages a healthy work-life balance and will provide opportunities for exercise and recreation on a daily basis.
4. Health Care - The Pitt Family offers excellent health care benefits. Annual check-ups, exams, immunizations, and urgent care are all included in your health plan.
5. All hires are subject to a 90 day probationary period.
