COVID 19 Chronicles #2

Join the challenge of posting a picture of some landscape from a place where you've been, where the main requirement is that you NOT appear in it. Just a picture, no description. The goal is to flood profiles with landscape photos to give a twist on the situation we're going through.
Copy the text to your status, post a photo and lets travel virtually around the world.

We had a moderate break in our practice of social distancing yesterday. My parents, who live about an hour away, invited over for dinner last night...pot roast with potatoes, carrots, & asparagus with brownies and ice cream for dessert. Since it had been 2 weeks since these social distancing rules had been put into place and we were't symptomatic, we thought it might be safe to visit. We were also able to enjoy a shower for the first time since February 29th. Our shower project still is not finished, but at least the tiling is done and now all we're waiting for is the installation of the glass doors and walls....

On our way back home, we stopped to fill up the fuel tank on our new Ford Flex (purchased in November) and saved 40 cents per gallon by using Safeway Fuel Rewards at a local Chevron gas station.

After we got home, I typed up a monthly letter that I write to my Japanese in-laws and used the translate function available with Google Docs to translate the document into their native language. Wife read it and said she will need to make some changes because the translation words were a bit weird, but otherwise, it was good.

#3 will be later today.
